Please note, we cannot provide assessments or reports for legal, Centrelink or diagnostic purposes.

Individual Psychotherapy

Individual session fee (50 mins) : $190

Medibank funding component:

With a referral from your GP in the form of a Mental Health Care Plan, Medicare may cover $85.20 with a gap payable of $104.80, up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

Due to the nature of working online and not having a client with me to pay in session, A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking online. The remaining amount is payable on the day. After your session your Medicare rebate will be processed and should be nominated account usually within 1-2 business days.

NDIS, DVA & My Aged Care Funded programs:

Session fee: as per the Schemes' recommendation.

Progress reports will be charged at the above hourly rate, usually one hour.

NDIS sessions with self or plan managed plans and require payment of invoice within seven business days.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling

EAP is a service provided by your employer, allowing you a set allocation of sessions funded by them. If your employer engages Stand Strong psychological as their EAP provider, seek a referral through them or contact Stand Strong directly for further details.

Fees are invoices directly to the employer.

Self Referrals:

Accepted as private bookings

Health Funds:

You may be eligible for a rebate from your Health Insurance Fund (please check with your Health Fund before booking)

Cancellation Policy

Stand Strong Psychological understands that sometimes you need to cancel or change your appointment, and kindly ask for 48 hours or more notice when doing so. This allows sufficient time to rebook your appointment slot. If notice is not given within 48 hours of your appointment, you will incur a 50% f. Rescheduling, cancellation or non attendance within 24 hours will incur full payment (minus deposit paid) .

Stand Strong regrets the need to introduce this policy, but late cancellations and 'no-shows' represent a considerable cost to our business.

Stand Strong accepts Self & Plan Managed NDIS Participants. Please make sure you have funding for the required lines in your NDIS Plan.

Travel Time:

Will be discussed per participant. Generally Travel time will be charged to the client only.

The last client of the day will also be charged travel time back to place of business In general terms areas Travel Time is charged according to the NDIS Price Guide 2022/2023 referring to the Modified Monash Model as follows:

zones: MM1-3

30 minutes

zones: MM4-6

60 minutes is charged each way

zones MMM 6-7

Payment

A Invoice will be sent to the plan manager or participant/carer is self managed within seven business days and payment is required within 14 business days
